FINALLY, the advanced digital scrapbooking class at JessicaSprague.com started thist last week. These are the things we learned:
Create complex shapes with the Photoshop drawing tools, including the vector drawing tools and the marquee tools.
Use compound shapes as clipping masks.
Create straight scalloped edges on patterned paper.
Add "pop" to a photo with a colored overlay.
Wrap ribbon around objects.
"Hang" a tag from ribbon.
Create compound masks for a single sheet of patterned paper.
Create a semi-transparent journaling box with shaped text in it.
Re-color textured items on their own layer.
My layout took me about 3 1/2 hours to complete and was sooo much fun!

Love the LO! Isn't Jess's class awesome!!! I mean if we learned all this in just the first week, I can't even imagine what the rest of the month is gonna hold in store for us!!!!!! I too am behind in lesson one. All I managed to complete this week was assignment 1a. Nothing else ... nada! So I have some catching up to do. And I just got Jess's email today starting off week 2. WooHoo!!! Sounds like another crammed-full week!!!!
What happened to your other LO that you said you posted? I didn't ever see it!! Did you delete it??! Such a great job on this ... can't even stand how much I learned this week! With all the running I've been doing you'd think I could keep up with our curriculum ... sadly not the case! At least you've posted lately ;)
Great job on your first lo Tori...wasn't it fun even tho it took a long time for all of us to complete????
