I can't seem to keep the same banner and background for too long. This time I used the Carosel Collection from The Shabby Shoppe and the CK Ali's Writing font. Hope you like!
A funny story...I had to work late transcribing the other night until about 2:30 a.m. I needed something in my garage, and we have a security system on the house that lets us know when anything is opened. I was trying to turn the volume down so that I wouldn't wake up the fam when I went into the garage. Instead...I turned on the fire alarm!!!! Loud sirens!!!! I ran to get my keyfob and turned it off thinking I had really woke them up for sure! No movement from upstairs.
The security company called and I told them what had happened but I couldn't remember my security code (I had never had to use it) so they called the fire department anyway! If a firetruck came, then the whole neighborhood would be awake...at 3 a.m!! Luckily the fire department called me to verify the alarm before they sent out a truck, and I told them what had happened. They didn't need a password. Whew!
BUT...the alarm system itself was beeping every 45 seconds after I had turned off the sirens. By now I am totally awake, so I spent the next hour and a half searching through paperwork trying to find the code so that stupid beeping would STOP! No luck. Finally, I was so sick of it that I just tried what first popped in my head and it worked! I went to bed at 4:30 a.m. with my alarm set to go off in two hours.
All because I wanted to get something out of the garage but didn't want to wake my family. No movement or sound that entire time! Good thing there wasn't a real fire. Next time, I'll just open the garage door. Or just go to bed.
