some triathlete stuff

The triathlon is tomorrow and I'm soooo nervous. About 10 of us did a run-through last weekend. I finished it, so I'm not sure why I am so nervous.

I'm getting my stuff together, and here is my checklist:

Body Glide: check.

Energy gel: not yet...gotta get.
One piece tri-suit: Are you kidding me? Nope. Maybe for the next one.

CamelBak: check.

OK, so mine isn't as cute. I got mine at Costco so it isn't a "real" CamelBak, but you get the idea.

Avia shoes with Yankz: check.

These are the coolest shoes and laces ever. I even bought some Yankz for Ethan as his shoes were ALWAYS untied. No more.

Sports watch: check

So I can make sure I am going to make it to the finish line before everyone goes home.

goggles: check

swim cap: check

towel: check

swimsuit: check

shorts: check

shirt: check

socks: check

iPod shuffle: check

bike helmet: check

bike: check

sports drinks: check

Whew! I think that's it. Except longer legs. I need that too.

Wish me luck!

Keep reading. This was not my first post of the day. :)

Thanks so much for putting a list together for me ... I was gonna get to that but you've saved me some time :) Now I can go back to worrying!! You rock - I am SO proud of you for working so hard to do this race ... and for pushing me to do it, too! It was exactly what I need to get back to business ;)

Tori, you crack me up. I always find myself laughing when I read your posts! I am so proud of you- congrats on finishing last weekend! You guys have inspired me to do one myself. I'm going for the Thanksgiving day one, I think I have Kari and Cami on board. Are you planning to do another?
