You are a good mom to let them run free in the mud.
I made them strip on the back patio before I let them come in. I had a big batch of wet, muddy clothes to wash. They are still talking about it, so I guess it was worth it.
Remember when we'd throw balls at our kids while we had them run back and forth across my family room? That was awesome.
